Vans Snow has few sneak previews floating around right now including a glimpse at their forthcoming AWT collection and the new redesign Fargo. The Fargo is such a long standing boot in the Vans collection it's nice to see its continued evolution
Vans took the Chukka Low, Mountain Edition along with the new Switchback and "redesigned and reinforced the shoes to operate in wet, rugged conditions." Some of the upgraded weatherized features include:
- 3M Scotchguard® infused premium leather,
- suede and textile uppers,
- a fully gusseted tongue to keep out moisture and debris, t
- hick water repelling lace
- inverted waffle sole for superior traction.
Completely redesigned for 2011, the Fargo boasts a series of new features that are sure to please Vans fans there including:
BOA Regulator System that pulls the shell securely closed from the instep
A Mega Power Strap that allows riders to adjust the support level and fit for total customization,
A new OTW Outsole that provides the perfect balance of lightweight dampening and power steering response.
The Fargo will be available in a black and grey camo model and bright green and gum version.
