the first board the method is the lightest board ever and the highback and ankle strap for next year have changed on the high back they put the thing on the outside of your boot abd the ankle strap they made fit ur boot better
i think that binding is the keegan valaika model. I know he's workin on one and saw a picture of him with black highbacks like those with what i thought was a CO2 base.
i rode with those bingings at bluemountain,2 weekends ago burton was there promoing all the new boards n bindings, the infidels are amazing and they r gunna run about 300 in spetember the guy said
Those bindings with the wrap around highback feature look liked something Salomon did a few years back(5 or 6 years ago). Can't remember what they were called, might have been SP3, but those look similar.
First of all, Burton SUCKS. Everything they make blows. Their bindings are crap up to the C02 models, which if you have 360$ is fine but for the rest of us its impractical. Also Jeremy Jones need to fire who ever designed his snowboard, it's fugly. Also, the Vapor SUCKS, its a pipe board, only good for a pipe board, and if you buy one for anything else your retarded, if you have that much money get a decent all around board, because no one rides an area specific boards unless your that good or really are only doing pipe, street rails or whatever... The only reason why people get the vapor is because its a grand, and if it costs that much it must be good. If I were a snowboard shop employee I would use that gimmick to sell one to every rich arse hole that walked in. Burton is the Walmart of the Snowboard world. Get a K2, a Ride, Rome, Forum (yeah I know burton bought them, they're still a semi-independant company though... Thanks Burton) anything other than a Burton. Oh yeah, and Union Bindings are the best Bindings out there. There is a reason why T. Rice just signed with them.
Stupid jealous motherf...er having problems with Burton? Best gear there is no doubt about it. Change to crosscountry skiing if having problems with snowboarders making snowboardgear istead of ski companies like K2 etc. shitbrands. Bet you have even ever seen a Vapor.
Would be great to see the new Custom X. Pictures from X games and BEO are not really clear but the board looks really good...
