Who Is Nossa?

All I can really dig up on NossaTV are a few small nuggets including this press release and job listing. After reading both and knowing what lat34 went through to be the title sponsor behind X-Dance I'm wondering who is throwing cash at this venture. It will be interesting to see how this one works out. I mean, they have 34 hours (yes hours!) of footage. Bottom line, if past history is any indicator of the future ... well, let's just say having a backup plan might be a good idea.

"X-Dance Entries Due

Park City (SP)-X-Dance and nossaTV announced the X-Dance Short Film Festival on nossatv.com Comprised of the best short action sports films, the 2008 X-Dance short film festival will premiere on the X-Dance channel on nossaTV in January 2008.

Entries are due to X-Dance on December 4th. Finalists will be announced no later than December 14th, and the online voting will run from January 4th to 21st. Users will have the opportunity to pick their favorite videos after downloading and viewing them on the X-Dance Channel on nossaTV. Videos must be watched in the nossaTV media player. The grand prize winner will be announced January 23rd along with the feature-length winners at the X-Dance closing party."
